New Vision for Jones Creek Restaurant
Jones Creek is excited to welcome our newest member to the staff- Restaurant Manager Jeremy Akins. Jeremy is no stranger to the Augusta area or the restaurant business. Growing up in Waynesboro, the “Birddog Capital of the World” and spending twelve years in Statesboro, Jeremy obtained his degree at Georgia Southern majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management and has eight years of working experience in the industry. “Ray and I felt that the Food and Beverage side of the business has tremendous potential and needs to expand in order to exceed the expectations of our growing membership”, Gregg Hemann says. ”We couldn’t be happier with Jeremy and the great ideas he has for the restaurant”. Being here for a little over a month and getting the opportunity to talk with the Members has enabled Jeremy to become acquianted with Jones Creek. We are confident and very excited that he can make the Food and Beverage operation something we will all take pride in. We are approaching the one year anniversary of the purchase of the club! It has been one year since that eventful day on October 16 2008. We have worked hard to stabilize the operation and improve in all aspects. While we still think we have a long way to go we think you’ll agree we are headed in a positive direction. we greatly appreciate the support that we feel from you, the Members. We have worked hard to grow the membership and the results have been great. A solid Member base is vital to operating a successful golf club.
